Metallized Films

CPFilms offers metallized films to meet the specialized needs of applications such as ESD packaging and other forms of packaging, graphic arts, paper and board laminations, decorative films, labels, automotive trim, and solar control window films.  

Using specially controlled thermal evaporation techniques, we deposit a uniform aluminum coating onto the film surface.   We can meet specific customer requirements, with vapor depositions ranging from 100 to 750 angstroms, from 0.2 to 4.0 optical density, 65% VLT to opaque, and 0.5 to 100 ohms per square.  

Our proprietary capabilities enable us to provide our customers with a remarkable degree of uniformity cross-web, down-web, and roll-to-roll.  

Gold 2000(PDF) film is a deep-dyed gold polyester film product designed for demanding graphic and label applications.   The film is supplied with an adhesion promoting pre-treatment, making it suitable for use in most printing applications.
