Conductive Films
CPFilms manufactures a wide range of sputtered Indium Tin Oxide OC™ coated films. They're ideally suited for applications such as computer touchscreens and other position sensors, electro-luminescent (EL) lamps, liquid crystal displays (LCDs), transparent heaters and radiation shielding.
Our OC™ products are manufactured via a vacuum sputter deposition of indium tin oxide (ITO) — a process that achieves excellent coating uniformity and adhesion. ITO coatings can also be patterned by chemically etching away unwanted coating, while protecting those areas where the coating should remain via the use of a resist material. All standard OC™ products are produced on optical grade polyester film, or on other film substrates such as heat-stabilized film, anti-glare or clear hardcoated polyester film by request. We also offer films for specialty uses, including a film with an adhesion-promoting layer for EL lamps, films for pen entry systems, as well as one that can detect electrical arcing or static within satellite blankets.

Our AgHT™ product line(PDF) of transparent, highly conductive coated films has been developed specifically for EMI/RFI shielding and infrared heat rejection applications such as welding facemasks. A unique combination of high visible light transmittance, nearly neutral color, and low electrical resistance make AgHT™ films ideally suited for EMI shielding in electronic displays and membrane switches. These products are also outstanding in their ability to transmit visible light while rejecting infrared heat, making them ideal for use in windows, projector lamp shields, and theatrical lighting filters. AuARE films(PDF) from CPFilms is a transparent gold-based film product. It is ideally suited for EMI shielding and transparent heaters, along with being a highly effective reflector of infrared heat radiation. The surface resistance ranges from 10 to 26 ohms per square, with visible transmission of 70% or more. AuARE coatings are available on heat-stabilized and non-heat stabilized substrates, including specialty substrates. Llumalloy® coated
polyester film(PDF) is another conductive film product from CPFilms.
It's designed for high-performance applications such as outdoor
labels, high-performance ESD packaging, and disk drives. In contrast
with typical aluminum metallized label base stock, Llumalloy®
provides dramatically better corrosion resistance and vapor barrier
